Who We Are
D&J is the largest, privately owned non-emergency medical transportation company in all five boroughs of New York City, Westchester County, and NassauCounty. Our management team has over 50 years of transportation experience. D&J maintains a fleet of approximately 200 vehicles, which includes our own tow truck, automobiles, ambulettes, and 20 to 32 passenger buses. Most of these vehicles can accommodate both wheelchair and ambulatory passengers.
D&J has in excess of 35 years of experience in transporting passengers for various private and government agencies. We are familiar and successful in transporting persons of all ages with special needs. D&J has operated proactively in an industry that has seen many changes and regulations and has continued to grow as a result.
D&J takes pride in providing transportation service that is safe, cost efficient, reliable, clean, and customer-friendly for all of its clients. Our senior management team consists of qualified personnel with current experience in providing dispatch and transportation services in a quality environment. We have dedicated customer service representatives who deal directly with customers who have special requests or concerns.
D&J works earnestly to recruit, train, and retrain our staff to comply with the requirements of the agencies for whom we provide transportation. It is a combination of our knowledge, experience and fine reputation that makes D&J the leading medical transportation provider in the greater New York City area.
